Babensham announces municipal heat planning results

The municipality of Babensham is conducting municipal heat planning to develop a secure, sustainable, and affordable heat supply for the future. INEV GmbH has been working on this project since March 2026.

An information event is scheduled for October 13 at the Gasthaus Brunnlechner to present the results of inventory and potential analyses, as well as implementation strategies. The session will address why local heating networks may not be economically viable in Babensham and will instead focus on decentralized solutions, such as heat pumps and building renovations. Experts from INEV GmbH and the Verbraucherzentrale Bayern will discuss available subsidy programs for citizens.
