Babulal Marandi criticizes Jharkhand government over student protests

Babulal Marandi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Jharkhand Assembly and former Chief Minister, has criticized Chief Minister Hemant Soren and the ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) regarding the ongoing JPSC and JSSC recruitment disputes.

Marandi accused the state government of abusing power to suppress the voices of students and youth protesting for their rights. He claimed that despite the JMM's history of democratic struggle, the current administration is using police force, including lathi charges, against protesting students.

Marandi demanded that Chief Minister Hemant Soren apologize publicly to the affected candidates. He also questioned the administrative orders behind the use of force against peaceful protesters and called for accountability from the Director General of Police regarding the actions taken during demonstrations near the Assembly and the Chief Minister's residence.
