Baby born in ambulance during transport to Šabac hospital

A baby girl was born in an ambulance in Belotić while being transported from Bogatić to a maternity hospital in Šabac. The delivery occurred approximately 20 seconds after the medical team responded to the onset of labor within the vehicle.

The mother arrived at the Bogatić Health Center with strong labor pains around 7:30 AM. While the medical team was en route to Šabac, the birth began near Belotić. Dr. Goran Jezdimirović, the attending physician, reported that both the mother and the newborn are in good condition. The baby received an Apgar score of 9 and has been admitted to the gynecology and obstetrics department in Šabac. This was the mother's fourth childbirth.
