Electric Forest festival baby found dead in Michigan portable toilet

Michigan State Police announced that a newborn baby, less than one month old, was discovered inside a portable toilet in the camping area of the Electric Forest music festival in Rothbury, Michigan, on the festival's final day.

The body was found by a restroom‑service employee conducting routine maintenance. Authorities have opened an investigation, completed an autopsy, and have not classified the case as homicide while forensic results are reviewed. Police are requesting anyone who was at the site to contact investigators and are urging the public to refrain from speculation.
