Baby naming trends shift toward unique and vintage styles

Baby naming trends are showing a shift toward both unique, gender-neutral options and the revival of vintage, traditional names.

Some parents are opting for creative or gender-neutral monikers such as Luca, which has ancient Roman roots, or Kai, which holds various meanings in Hawaiian and Japanese cultures. The use of gender-neutral names is reportedly increasing compared to previous generations.

Simultaneously, there is a growing trend of “old people names” making a comeback. Names previously associated with older generations, such as Eleanor, Abigail, Henry, George, and Walter, are seeing renewed popularity among infants and young children.
