Babylon Berlin and The Gentlemen set for September premieres

Several major television series are scheduled for release in September. The German historical drama “Babylon Berlin” will premiere its fifth and final season on September 10 in the ARD Mediathek. Based on the novels by Volker Kutscher, the final installment depicts the beginning of the Nazi regime in early 1933, following the appointment of Adolf Hitler as chancellor and the subsequent collapse of democratic institutions in the Weimar Republic.

Additionally, Netflix is releasing the second season of “The Gentlemen” on September 3. The series follows characters Eddie and Susie as they expand their cannabis empire into Italy, leading to conflicts with the local mafia. A third season of the show has already been confirmed.
