Bac Ninh cancels graduation exam results for D01 valedictorian

The Bac Ninh Department of Education and Training has officially canceled the 2026 high school graduation exam results for student H. P. N., who was the top scorer for the D01 subject group in the province. The decision follows investigations into allegations of cheating at Luong Tai High School.

Social media reports suggested that the student, whose parents are staff members at the school, received direct assistance from exam proctors for Mathematics and English exams. Authorities are also investigating a second student in the same room who allegedly copied H. P. N.’s work to achieve a high score.

Police and education officials are currently verifying the extent of the violations and determining the responsibilities of the proctors and school staff involved. The Ministry of Education and Training has been notified and is monitoring the situation to ensure compliance with national examination regulations.
