Bac Ninh man fined for false comments on Gia Binh Airport project

Police in Luc Ngan Commune, Bac Ninh province, have fined an individual, identified as G. V. T., 12.5 million VND for posting false and negative comments regarding the Gia Binh Airport project on Facebook.

Authorities discovered that the individual used a personal Facebook account to interact with and comment on misinformation hosted on a fanpage belonging to the organization Viet Tan. Following an investigation, G. V. T. admitted to the violations and removed the content. The fine was issued for providing and sharing fake, distorted, or slanderous information that insulted the reputation of organizations and individuals.
