Bac Ninh police detain spa owners for multi-billion dong fraud

The Bac Ninh Provincial Police have launched a criminal investigation and ordered the detention of five individuals for deceiving customers at two spa facilities in Bac Giang ward. The suspects, identified as Nguyen Quoc Khanh and Nguyen Thi Kim Anh, operated under the business name Sigma care 03 and also managed the Royal Luxury Spa.

The group allegedly used a sophisticated five-part organizational model—consisting of receptionists, initial consultants, technicians, “shills,” and secondary consultants posing as doctors or experts—to manipulate customers. By using deceptive scripts and targeting vulnerable individuals, the group sold expensive “intensive” and “advanced” treatment packages, defrauding hundreds of customers of billions of Vietnamese dong.
