Bac Ninh police detain man for drug possession and ramming officers

Police in Bac Ninh province have detained Duong Minh Hoang, born in 1991, for illegal possession of narcotics. During a routine patrol on August 8, traffic officers attempted to signal Hoang to stop his vehicle for inspection.

Instead of complying, Hoang accelerated and drove his vehicle directly at the officers in an attempt to escape. Law enforcement managed to quickly intercept and subdue him. Upon inspection, authorities discovered approximately 0.4637 grams of pink pills and 0.2258 grams of white crystals, both identified as methamphetamine.
