Bac Ninh schools ordered to return unauthorized parent and class funds

Two schools in Bac Ninh province have been required to return various class and parent funds following reports of unauthorized collections.

At Doi Ngo Kindergarten in Luc Nam Ward, a teacher for a 4-year-old class reportedly collected funds for decorations, parent associations, and summer uniforms via a personal bank account. The school principal, Nguyen Thi Ly, stated that the school has not yet received approval from the Luc Nam Ward People's Committee for any collections for the 2026-2027 school year. Consequently, the school has ordered the teacher to return the collected money to the parents.

Local authorities, including the Chairman of the Luc Nam Ward People's Committee, confirmed that the ward has not approved any class funds, parent funds, or decoration funds for the upcoming school year, regardless of whether such collections are intended to be voluntary.
