Bac Ninh undergoes administrative restructuring with new city and ward

Bac Ninh province is undergoing significant administrative restructuring with the official establishment of Bo Ha ward and Bac Ninh city.

Following Resolution No. 388/NQ-UBTVQH16, Bo Ha ward has been formally established based on the existing area and population of the former Bo Ha commune. Local officials noted that this transition to ward status requires enhanced governance, infrastructure investment, and urban management to support socio-economic development and improved public services.

Simultaneously, the National Assembly has passed Resolution No. 39/2026/QH16 regarding the establishment of Bac Ninh city. To celebrate this milestone, the province has organized various cultural activities, exhibitions, and art programs throughout September and October 2026. These celebrations aim to highlight the region's traditional values and development achievements while launching emulation movements to drive economic growth for the 2025-2030 term.
