Baccarat and Punto Banco gameplay overview
Baccarat is a long-standing card game played between two hands, known as the player and the banker. The objective is to bet on which hand will have a total value closest to nine. In the Punto Banco variation, cards valued two through nine are worth their face value, aces are worth one, and tens or face cards are worth zero. If a hand totals eight or nine initially, it is considered a natural win.
Gameplay involves specific rules for drawing a third card if the initial totals are low. Betting options typically include the player, the banker, or a tie. The banker bet generally offers a lower house edge, approximately 1.06%, compared to other options.
