Bach Long Vi team wins national maritime awareness competition

The national finals of the ‘I Love My Country's Sea and Islands’ competition for the 2025-2026 school year concluded in Hanoi. The Bach Long Vi team from Hai Phong secured first place with a total of 476 points.

Organized by the Vietnam Coast Guard under the direction of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defence, the competition has been held for over a decade. It aims to educate students about maritime knowledge and foster national pride regarding the country's seas and islands.

Six teams representing various regions—including Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Quang Ngai, Lam Dong, Ho Chi Minh City, and Ca Mau—competed in the final round. The competition featured four distinct segments: ‘Setting Sail’, ‘Braving the Waves’, ‘Reaching the Shore’, and ‘Marking Sovereignty’.
