Bachleda Termy begins 500 million PLN geothermal complex construction in Zakopane

A major commercial investment is underway in Zakopane, Poland, with the construction of the Bachleda Termy Kasprowy complex. Located on Polana Szymoszkowa near the Bachleda Hotel Kasprowy and the Szymoszkowa ski station, the project is valued at approximately 500 million PLN.

The facility is expected to cover an area of between 40,000 and 47,000 square meters, featuring indoor and outdoor pools, wellness zones, saunas, and water attractions. The complex will utilize local geothermal water, which reaches temperatures of up to 90 degrees Celsius at a depth of 3 km, to provide year-round service.

Owned by the Bachleda Curusia family, the project aims to create a year-round resort to boost regional tourism beyond the traditional seasons. Polimex Mostostal serves as the general contractor, with the official opening scheduled for December 6, 2028.
