The stage adaptation of *Back to the Future* has released its first image of the DeLorean finale, showcasing the high‑tech illusion that will feature in the upcoming UK tour. Co‑creator and book writer Bob Gale praised the effect, saying, “The illusions involving the DeLorean are next‑level state‑of‑the‑art… their jaws still drop!”

The tour opens at the Bristol Hippodrome (8 Oct – 21 Nov 2026) and will travel to Edinburgh, Liverpool, Milton Keynes, Birmingham, Sunderland, Bradford, Southampton, Manchester, Plymouth and Cardiff through November 2027. Australian actor Axel Duffy will play Marty McFly, while Roger Bart and Brian Conley will alternate as Doc Brown at selected venues.

The production, which has already been seen by more than five million people worldwide and won Olivier, WhatsOnStage and Broadway World awards, concluded its five‑year West End run in April 2026 after breaking box‑office records.
