Backstreet Boys launch ten-concert series in Düsseldorf

The Backstreet Boys have launched their ‘Into The Millennium’ concert series in Düsseldorf, marking their only European performances for 2026. The high-production show features a 32-meter stage, pyrotechnics, and laser displays. The group made a dramatic entrance by descending from the stadium ceiling on hoverboards.

The concert series, subtitled ‘Homecoming: Live in Germany’, celebrates the band’s long history with German fans. The setlist focuses on nostalgia, revisiting hits from their 1999 album ‘Millennium,’ including ‘I Want It That Way’ and ‘Larger Than Life.’ Fans adhered to a specific dress code, wearing white and light blue to match the album’s aesthetic.

According to organizer Live Nation, approximately 450,000 tickets have been sold for the ten scheduled stadium concerts, which run through October 7. The band, founded in 1993 in Orlando, Florida, expressed deep gratitude to their German audience, noting that Germany was one of their first major supporters.
