Bağcılar to Open Four New Fully Equipped Youth and Sports Centers
The Bağcılar municipality in Istanbul is constructing four new youth and sports complexes in the Güneşli, Hürriyet, Yüzyıl and Çınar neighborhoods. Once completed, the district will have five such facilities. The centres combine sport halls, swimming pools, libraries, classrooms, cafés and information rooms, aiming to provide education, artistic and athletic opportunities for local young people.
Mayor Yasin Yıldız said the projects are an investment in the future, offering spaces where youths can develop talents, practice sports such as karate, taekwondo and boxing, and study or socialize. Construction is underway and the centres are expected to open to the public in the near term.
