Bacău hosts fifth anniversary of pink scarf poetry event

The fifth edition of the ‘Poezie cu eșarfă ROZ’ (Poetry with a Pink Scarf) event took place in Bacău at the Sofi Roz Association headquarters. Held during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the anniversary event brought together poets, artists, and beneficiaries to promote solidarity and awareness through art.

The program included poetic recitals by Mihaela Băbușanu and Silvia Miler from the Romanian Writers' Union (Bacău Branch), alongside poets Rodica Dascălu and Daniela Huțu. The event also featured musical performances by Elena-Simona Ciubotaru, aiming to use poetry as a tool for emotional support and community connection for women facing breast cancer.
