Water supply disruptions reported across Romania and Moldova

In Romania, Apă Canal 2000 SA Pitești has announced a planned water outage in Poiana Lacului for September 23, affecting several villages including Sămara and Metofu for reservoir cleaning. In Botoșani, Nova Apaserv is conducting works to connect a new pipeline, impacting the city center and historic areas. Constanța is also facing service interruptions due to a burst pipe on Topolog Street, managed by RAJA. In Bacău, frequent pipe failures have prompted discussions about using the Bistrița River as an alternative water source to improve security.

In Moldova, Apă-Canal Chișinău has scheduled water outages for several streets in Chișinău, including Alba-Iulia and Lipcani, on September 23. Additionally, residents in the Ghidighici village have faced service interruptions due to planned works and third-party interventions.

In Bucharest, Termoenergetica has announced the phased charging of thermal energy heating systems starting October 1, advising residents to complete internal plumbing repairs to prevent flooding.
