Bacău prepares to concession Aqualand administration

The Bacău Local Council has been called to an extraordinary meeting on August 17 to discuss the concession of the Aqualand Insula de Agrement Bacău. The proposal aims to delegate the administration, operation, and maintenance of the complex to a specialized economic operator through a public tender.

Local authorities state that this concession is the most efficient economic and operational solution to ensure the continuous functioning, infrastructure preservation, and necessary investments for the facility. The municipality expects to generate local budget revenue through royalties and contractual obligations from the future concessionaire.
