Bad Berka: Man in custody following fatal incident

A 38-year-old man has been placed in pretrial detention following a fatal incident in Bad Berka. The victim, a 32-year-old woman, was found lifeless by a relative on Saturday evening. Although emergency responders were able to briefly resuscitate her, she passed away in the early hours of September 20 due to her injuries.

Police identified the victim's 38-year-old partner as the primary suspect after finding him at the scene. Following investigations by the Weimar criminal police station and the Erfurt public prosecutor's office, a judge ordered his detention.
