Bad Brückenau police detain intoxicated man for park harassment and assault
On Monday evening at about 18:50, a 58‑year‑old German who was heavily intoxicated entered Siebener Park in Bad Brückenau and verbally harassed several women and children. Police officers responding to multiple emergency calls found the man aggressive and uncooperative. He ignored a place‑restriction, attempted to strike the officers, and had to be subdued, handcuffed and taken into custody. During transport and at the police station he continued to insult and threaten the officers. Following consultation with the Schweinfurt public prosecutor, a blood sample was taken. The suspect now faces charges of resisting law‑enforcement officers, insult and threat. The same police report also recorded two hit‑and‑run traffic accidents in Bad Kissingen on the same day, involving a white Toyota Supra and a black VW Polo, with damages estimated in the several‑thousand‑euro range, and police are seeking public information on those incidents.
