Bad Bunny Barcelona concert draws massive crowds amid VIP crowding complaints

Puerto Rican reggaeton star Bad Bunny performed in Barcelona on 22‑23 May 2026 at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, part of a twelve‑city Spanish tour that will host over 600,000 fans in total. The event attracted around 59,000 spectators in the city, with queues forming for merchandise and a notable presence of football players such as Lamine Yamal, Gavi and Robert Lewandowski.

Attendees who purchased €500 VIP tickets for the “La Casà” area reported that the space was extremely limited, with one viewer saying, “I can’t move, I can’t dance, I can’t do literally anything.” Influencer Jordi Ferrandez posted a video showing the cramped conditions, prompting discussion on social media. Bad Bunny later addressed the crowd, stating, “The only reason I’m here tonight is for you to enjoy.” The concert featured a blend of reggaeton and salsa, with guest performer Bad Gyal joining the set.

Despite the complaints, the concert was praised for its energy and the artist’s connection with the audience, highlighting the cultural impact of the performance in Barcelona.
