Bad Bunny Barcelona concerts face crowding complaints, snap with Catalan president

Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny began his European "DeBí Tirar Más Fotos" World Tour with two consecutive concerts at Barcelona's Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys on May 22‑23. The shows attracted tens of thousands of fans and were highlighted by surprise appearances from personalities such as streamer Ibai Llanos and actress Úrsula Corberó.

Attendees in the VIP "Golden Circle" area reported severe overcrowding, describing the conditions as "inhumane" and alleging insufficient crowd‑control measures. Influencer Violeta Mangriñán publicly criticized the situation, noting that some fans felt trapped and needed medical attention.

During the same weekend, Bad Bunny and Catalan president Salvador Illa were photographed together inside the Sagrada Família. Illa posted the image on social media, thanking the artist for choosing Barcelona to launch his tour. Bad Bunny wore a dark cap, sunglasses and a hoodie, blending in with other tourists, and the visit proceeded without incident.
