Bad Bunny becomes first Latin artist to hit $1 billion in touring revenue
Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny has become the first Latin act to amass more than $1 billion in career touring revenue, according to Billboard Boxscore. The total of $1.08 billion comes from 260 reported concerts since 2017, selling 6.4 million tickets.
His current “Debí Tirar Más Fotos” world tour has already generated $360 million from its first 41 shows and sold 2.4 million tickets. A ten‑night residency at Madrid’s Riyadh Air Metropolitano sold 623,000 tickets, the highest‑grossing stretch of the tour. The tour has visited Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Japan, Australia, Portugal, Spain and will conclude in Brussels, with total gross expected to exceed $450 million.
Bad Bunny is also the first artist to reach this milestone without performing any songs in English, joining fewer than 25 performers worldwide to surpass the $1 billion mark. The achievement underscores the growing global commercial power of Spanish‑language music.
