Bad Bunny becomes first Latin artist to earn $1 billion from touring

Puerto‑Rican singer Bad Bunny has become the first Latin artist to gross more than US$1 billion from concert ticket sales, according to Billboard Boxscore data. The milestone was reached without any performances in English and without any shows in the United States.

Across his career the artist has sold about 6.4 million tickets at 260 concerts, earning roughly US$1.08 billion. The current "Debí Tirar Más Fotos" World Tour alone has generated US$360 million, selling 2.4 million tickets in 41 shows. Highlights include ten consecutive performances at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid, which sold 623 000 tickets and placed the tour ahead of Take That’s 2011 record.

The tour has visited Latin America, Asia, Oceania and Europe, with upcoming dates in Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, France, Sweden, Poland, Italy and Belgium. Brazil hosted two shows at São Paulo’s Allianz Parque in February, drawing nearly 97 000 attendees and adding about US$12 million to the total.

By surpassing the previous live‑music revenue record set by the Rolling Stones’ 2014 "14 On Fire" tour, Bad Bunny’s achievement marks a historic commercial benchmark for non‑English‑language artists.
