Bad Bunny concert in Düsseldorf draws mixed reactions

Puerto Rican reggaeton star Bad Bunny performed on June 20, 2026 at the Merkur Spiel‑Arena in Düsseldorf as part of his Renaissance Tour. The two‑and‑a‑half‑hour show featured pyrotechnics, laser effects and a pink "Casita" stage, and the artist thanked the crowd repeatedly, saying “Muchas gracias, Düsseldorf!”.

Some attendees reported long entry queues, technical glitches and poor sound, with one fan quoted as saying, “The lines were unbearable, and the sound quality was terrible.” Ticketmaster acknowledged “unforeseen logistical challenges” that were resolved within about 30 minutes. Organizers said the concert was otherwise successful and announced additional security and concessions for upcoming dates in Berlin and Hamburg. A second show was added in Düsseldorf due to high demand.
