Bad Bunny concludes massive world tour in Puerto Rico

Bad Bunny has concluded his ‘DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS’ World Tour with two sold-out performances at the Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on August 22 and 23. The tour spanned 55 concerts across 22 cities, generating approximately $467 million in revenue and selling over 3.1 million tickets, with an average attendance of 56,000 people per show.

During the final shows, titled ‘Cerramos en Casa’ (Ending at Home), the artist addressed local issues, including Puerto Rico’s ongoing struggles with water and electricity supplies. He expressed gratitude to his fans, stating, ‘You don’t need me, I need you,’ and emphasized that his success is rooted in the support of his home community.

The tour was noted for its cultural significance, celebrating Puerto Rican identity and language without transitioning to English for international markets. The artist also made a conscious decision to avoid performing in the United States during this tour due to concerns regarding immigration policies and the potential presence of ICE officials at his events.
