Bad Bunny draws 45,000 fans to Paris concert, spotlighting Puerto Rican culture
Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny opened his "Debí tirar más fotos" world tour in Paris on Saturday, performing to a packed Plenitude Arena (formerly La Défense Arena) with an audience of roughly 45,000. The two‑hour‑plus show featured his latest hits such as “Tití Me Preguntó,” “Yo Perreo Sola,” “DÁKITI,” and the title track “DtMF,” as well as traditional Puerto Rican rhythms performed with groups like Los Pleneros de la Cresta and the band Chuwi.
The stage was built around a bright pink "casita" inspired by a typical Caribbean house, reinforcing the cultural theme. Bad Bunny addressed the crowd with the slogan “¡Que se sienta París!” and dedicated the song “VOU 787” to the city, proclaiming, “Todas las personas de Francia, todos los latinos aquí presentes, sepan que por esta noche todos los que estamos aquí somos puertorriqueños.”
The concert was the first of two Paris dates before the tour moves on to Sweden. Billboard has reported that Bad Bunny’s current tour has become the first Latin‑artist tour to generate over one billion dollars in revenue, underscoring the commercial impact of the event.
