Bad Bunny draws massive crowds at Düsseldorf concerts
Puerto‑Rican star Bad Bunny performed a two‑night run at Düsseldorf’s Merkur Spiel‑Arena on 20‑21 June, part of his DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS World Tour. The sold‑out shows each attracted around 40,000 fans and featured a three‑hour set of reggaeton, Latin trap and pop, elaborate pyrotechnics, laser effects, and a light show. A secondary pink‑house stage called the “Casita” and a fan‑selected “Dwerking” dance added interactive elements, while the artist repeatedly thanked the audience in Spanish. Due to high demand an additional Sunday show was added. In the city’s Alt‑Stadt, Bad Bunny handed out free drinks and tickets at a local bar. He also surprised the crowd with a German 2006 World Cup training jacket. The tour has become the first Latin‑artist tour to surpass $1 billion in career grosses, with $360 million earned across its first 41 shows.
