Bad Bunny kicks off French tour in Marseille, with Puerto Rican band Chuwi opening Paris shows

Bad Bunny opened his French leg of the "Debí Tirar Más Fotos" World Tour at the Vélodrome in Marseille, drawing a crowd of around 65,000. The show featured two stages, a full orchestra, and a pink "Casita" replica of a traditional Puerto Rican house, while audience members received cardboard cameras. The concert blended salsa, plena, reggaeton and a rewritten version of La Marseillaise, and included a guest appearance by Yandel.

Puerto Rican group Chuwi, formed in Isabela during the COVID‑19 pandemic, served as the opening act. Their music mixes traditional plena and bomba with jazz and salsa, and they have become a rising act on the island’s scene. After the Marseille stop, Bad Bunny and Chuwi will appear at the Plenitude Arena in Paris on 4‑5 July, marking the band’s first performances in France.

French media praised the concert as "memorable" and highlighted its cultural impact, noting the display of Puerto Rican, Colombian, Ecuadorian and Venezuelan flags and the slogan "De Puerto Rico por todo el mundo" on merchandise. The tour is expected to attract more than 2.6 million spectators worldwide.
