Bad Bunny Lisbon concerts face fan backlash over water bottle ban
Bad Bunny will perform two sold‑out concerts on 26 and 27 May at Estádio da Luz in Lisbon, with an estimated 60,000 spectators each night. Live Nation, the promoter, outlined entry procedures, ticket validation rules and a list of prohibited items. Attendees must present a single, non‑transferable digital ticket at one of three security checkpoints and are allowed only small personal items. Water bottles are explicitly banned, a rule that has sparked criticism on social media, especially as forecasts predict temperatures up to 36 °C. Fans argue that prohibiting water in extreme heat is unreasonable, while the organizer notes that food such as sandwiched fruit is permitted if properly packaged. Security personnel will be present at the first checkpoint to enforce the policy and prevent ticket fraud. The concert schedule begins at 20:00 with opening act CHUWI, followed by Bad Bunny at 21:00.
