Bad Bunny concludes world tour with sold-out Puerto Rico shows

Bad Bunny is concluding his ‘DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS World Tour’ with two sold-out concerts at the Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan, Puerto Rico, scheduled for August 22 and 23. The ticket sale, which began on Wednesday via PR Ticket, saw massive demand, with reports indicating between 1 million and 1.5 million people joining virtual queues. The tickets for both dates sold out in approximately six hours.

The high demand has led to concerns regarding ticket reselling. Producer José ‘Pepe’ Dueño has called on Puerto Rico’s Department of Consumer Affairs (DACO) and the Department of the Treasury to regulate exorbitant resale prices on international websites. While DACO noted it can intervene in legitimate digital platforms, it clarified that fraudulent sales are a matter for the police.

In conjunction with the concerts, the ‘Benito 100 x 35’ exhibition has opened at the i AM Art Gallery in San Juan. The collection features works from 32 artists paying tribute to the singer through various media, including sculptures and holograms.
