Bad Bunny urges support for Venezuela during London concert
Puerto‑Rican star Bad Bunny paused his show at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to address the recent earthquakes that hit Venezuela. He praised the Venezuelan people as “very brave, strong, and I know you will overcome this,” adding, “From a tourist in London with the soul of Puerto Rico, my heart is with you in Venezuela.”
He highlighted the large Venezuelan diaspora attending his concerts worldwide and reflected on migration, saying a traveler becomes an emigrant but “your home will always be your land.” Other Latin artists, including Alejandro Sanz, Ricky Martin and Carlos Vives, also voiced solidarity with the country after the disaster that has left more than 1,900 dead and over 10,500 injured.
Bad Bunny’s message was widely shared on social media, reinforcing his reputation for speaking out on humanitarian issues and drawing international attention to the Venezuelan crisis.
