Bad Bunny uses Puerto Rican home replica as stage set

Bad Bunny’s concert tour features a specialized stage element known as ‘La Casita,’ a 50-square-meter structure designed to resemble a real home in Humacao, Puerto Rico. The mobile set, designed by Mayna Magruder Ortiz and constructed by a team led by architect Rafael Pérez Rodríguez, includes amenities such as a private elevator, a game room with foosball and chess, and a snack bar.

The structure is built from foam, metal, and wood to simulate zinc and concrete while remaining portable. It accommodates up to 30 people inside, 15 on a balcony, and 20 on the roof. During the performance, the artist uses the space for intimate sets lasting 20 to 30 minutes.

The design has faced legal scrutiny, as Román Carrasco Delgado, the owner of the original house in Humacao that inspired the set, filed a lawsuit against the artist seeking $6 million in compensation for alleged unjust enrichment.
