Bad Bunny wins seven Emmy Awards for Super Bowl LX halftime show

Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX halftime show, titled ‘The Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show Starring Bad Bunny’, won seven Emmy Awards. The performance became the most awarded halftime show in history, securing the award for Outstanding Variety Special (Live). This marks the first time a Spanish-language program has won in this category.

The production also received awards for musical direction, choreography, sound mixing, technical direction, lighting design, and camera work. The performance featured cultural references to Puerto Rico and Latin identity, including guest appearances by Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin.

Additionally, the Saturday Night Live episode hosted by Bad Bunny in October 2025 won an Emmy for Outstanding Makeup for a Variety, Nonfiction, or Reality Program.
