Bad Bunny's Madrid concert 'casita' draws criticism over guest selection

During Bad Bunny's 2026 tour in Madrid, the Hennessy brand set up a pop‑up "Hennessy Club" at the entrance of the Wanda Metropolitano. The space recreates a Puerto Rican ambience with themed décor and signature cocktails such as Hennessy Passion and Hennessy de Coco, aiming to merge the island’s culture with the concert experience.

The show’s stage design includes a replica Puerto Rican house, known as the "casita," which Bad Bunny uses in the second part of his performance. The "casita" has become a flashpoint online, with critics accusing the selection of its occupants of being sexist and class‑ist. Early appearances featured celebrities like actor Noah Schnapp and footballers Marcelo and Achraf Hakimi, while many users reported that only attractive young women were invited, prompting accusations of “machista” behaviour. Some commentators have used the "casita" to highlight Spain’s housing affordability crisis, posting fake rental ads to draw attention to rising property prices.

Hennessy representatives emphasized the partnership as a celebration of cultural collaboration, stating that the brand supports artists who inspire and connect people across borders.
