Bad Bunny kicks off France tour with Marseille and Paris concerts as Paris wax statue is unveiled

Puerto‑Rican superstar Bad Bunny began his European stadium leg on 1 July with a sold‑out show at Marseille’s Stade Vélodrome, drawing about 60,000 fans. He will follow the Marseille concert with two performances on 4‑5 July at the newly renamed Plenitude Arena (formerly La Défense Arena) in Paris.

At the same time, the Musée Grévin in Paris unveiled a wax figure of Bad Bunny. The seven‑month project depicts the singer seated on a plastic chair, echoing the cover of his latest album “Debi Tirar Más Fotos”. Museum director Yves Delhommeau said the figure had to be created from photographs because the artist’s schedule prevented his participation.

The tour’s arrival in France has also sparked fashion buzz; Bad Bunny was spotted at Wimbledon in London on 29 June wearing Tom Ford “Anton” sunglasses, illustrating his influence beyond music.

All concerts were reported sold out, underscoring Bad Bunny’s status as the most streamed Latin artist worldwide and a cultural phenomenon that transcends music into fashion and political commentary.
