Bad Bunny concert in Milan halted by severe storm, fans evacuated and tickets refunded
Puerto‑Rican singer Bad Bunny opened his Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour in Milan on 17 July 2026, drawing almost 80,000 spectators to the Ippodromo SNAI La Maura. The first show was a sold‑out success.
The second night on 18 July was interrupted after about 40 minutes when a violent thunderstorm with large hail struck the venue. Around 80,000 attendees were evacuated; several spectators suffered head injuries from hailstones the size of walnuts and were treated by emergency services.
Live Nation announced that the concert would not be rescheduled, stating: “A causa delle condizioni meteorologiche avverse, tra cui temporali e grandine, l'area è stata evacuata in sicurezza… il concerto è stato annullato e non verrà riprogrammato.” Ticket holders will receive a full refund, including the price of the ticket and any pre‑sale rights.
The incident affected roughly 157,000 tickets sold across both dates, marking a major disruption to a high‑profile cultural event in Italy.
