Bad Gyal rejects hypothetical $3M Taylor Swift collaboration
Spanish reggaeton artist Bad Gyal has stated she would refuse a hypothetical collaboration with Taylor Swift, even if offered three million dollars or euros. During an interview on the Argentine streaming channel Blender, the Barcelona-born singer explained that she does not identify with Swift’s musical style or the ideas her music represents.
Bad Gyal used food metaphors to describe Swift’s music, comparing it to “a dry chicken with no spices” and a “rotten hard-boiled egg” due to its perceived lack of seasoning. Despite the blunt critique, the artist noted she has no intention of starting a personal feud with the pop star, stating she would rather not “start beef” with anyone.
The comments have drawn significant attention from Taylor Swift’s fanbase online. Bad Gyal, whose real name is Alba Farelo i Solé, is a Catalan singer known for reggaeton and dancehall, having previously released the chart-topping album “La Joia” and signed with Interscope Records.
