Germany seasonal activities and home heating advice

Various regional activities and domestic advice are highlighted for the autumn season in Germany. Cultural and leisure offerings include a wellness event at the Bad Harzburg Sole-Therme on November 7, family-oriented Stone Age workshops at the Neanderthal Museum, and autumn programs at Zoo Rostock featuring night tours. Additionally, Tierpark Bochum participated in a species protection month organized by the North Rhine-Westphalia State Zoo Association.

Regarding domestic management, experts advise against certain heating practices to prevent mold. Keeping doors open between rooms with different temperatures can cause moisture to settle on cold surfaces, increasing mold risk. It is recommended to keep unused rooms at 16 to 18 degrees Celsius and living rooms at approximately 20 degrees. Furthermore, pellet prices have remained relatively stable around 439 euros per ton as of mid-October.
