Bad Homburg–Friedrichsdorf Brawl Leads to Arrests; Vehicle Burglary Attempt in Königstein
On Saturday evening, a physical altercation began on the Rathausplatz in Bad Homburg between a 23‑year‑old man and a 25‑year‑old counterpart. After a verbal dispute, the fight escalated with kicks, punches and the use of pepper spray by the older man. Both participants fled, injuring a third person with a fist blow, and were subsequently detained and issued place bans.
Shortly thereafter the two men encountered each other again at the Friedrichsdorf train station, where the 25‑year‑old attacked the younger man. Police re‑apprehended the assailant and again placed him under a place ban.
In a separate incident in Königstein im Taunus, a thief attempted to break into a parked black Fiat on the night of 24–25 July, prying the passenger door open. The vehicle’s door withstood the effort, the suspect fled, and the estimated damage was about €1,500. Police are seeking information from witnesses.
