Bad Honnef celebrates tenth anniversary of Schützen-Gala

The St. Sebastianus Schützenbruderschaft Bad Honnef 1325 e. V., the Rommersdorf-Bondorfer Bürgerverein 1880 e. V., and the St. Hubertus Schützengesellschaft Rhöndorf 1920 e. V. celebrated the tenth anniversary of the ‘Schützen-Gala’ on October 10, 2026.

The event, held at a sold-out Kursaal, featured a jubilee film documenting the gala's history since its 2016 debut. Mayor Philipp Herzog addressed the attendees, emphasizing social cohesion and referencing former Chancellor Konrad Adenauer’s remarks on the atmosphere of the Siebengebirge region.

The gala serves as a significant social highlight for the Bad Honnef community, driven by the collaborative volunteer efforts of the three participating organizations.
