Bad Kissingen driver causes three-vehicle accident and attempts to flee
A 69-year-old woman caused a multi-vehicle accident in Bad Kissingen, Germany, on Tuesday night. While driving along Schützenstraße around 10:55 PM, the driver struck a parked car with enough force to push it into another vehicle parked in front of it, resulting in significant damage to three cars. The total property damage is estimated at approximately 25,000 euros.
Following the collision, the woman attempted to flee the scene but was intercepted by a resident who had been alerted by the sound of the crash. Local police arrived shortly after and initiated a criminal investigation into hit-and-run and endangering road traffic. Authorities suspect the driver may have been unfit to drive due to the prior consumption of sleeping pills, and a blood sample was taken for testing. The driver's licensing authority will be notified of the incident.
