Bad Kissingen Police Appeal for Tips on Hit‑And‑Run, Vandalism and Bike Theft
Police in Bad Kissingen are investigating a series of incidents and have asked the public for information. Between 20:00 GMT on Wednesday and 05:45 on Thursday a parked red Ford Kuga was struck on a camping‑site parking lot, causing about €2,000 of damage to the rear hatch before the driver fled the scene.
Earlier on Wednesday a wellness lounge in Luitpoldpark was damaged when three young men and a young woman sat on its headrest, breaking it; the estimated loss is €3,000. In the same period an E‑Bike valued at roughly €2,500 was stolen from the yard of an electrical‑company in the Winkels district.
A separate police notice describes a woman who, after accidentally striking a parked Volvo Kombi with her own vehicle on a Netto market car‑park, fled the scene. Witnesses captured photographic evidence and the police are seeking her identification.
Additional reports from the Main‑Rhön area detail five nighttime break‑ins at garage‑type outbuildings, where thieves stole four E‑bikes and tools worth about €10,000. Police have released descriptions of the suspects and request any leads.
