Bad Pyrmont Tourism GmbH Takes Over Dunsthöhle, Reopens in August 2026

Effective 5 August 2026, Bad Pyrmont Tourism GmbH will assume responsibility for the Dunsthöhle, a unique natural phenomenon in Bad Pyrmont, Germany. The takeover follows a renovation of the cave’s ticket building and introduces a new logo, dedicated website and a refreshed management team.

Visitors will be able to purchase tickets online in advance, with on‑site sales limited to card payments. Opening hours are set for Thursdays and Fridays 16:00‑18:00 and Saturdays, Sundays and holidays 14:00‑18:00. The attraction will officially reopen on 6 August 2026 at 16:00, offering two free guided tours for up to 40 guests, though tickets are still required.

State Bath Director Dr Maik Fischer highlighted that the Dunsthöhle is a key part of Bad Pyrmont’s tourist identity and that the new partnership will bring fresh ideas and professional development to the site.
