Bad Reichenhall Gradierhaus to begin winter break

The Gradierhaus in the Königlicher Kurgarten in Bad Reichenhall is scheduled to end its current season on November 1, 2026. Visitors can continue to access the outdoor inhalatorium to breathe the saline air until that date, provided temperatures do not drop below freezing earlier for safety reasons.

Starting November 2, the facility will enter its planned winter hiatus. During this period, the Bayerische Staatsbad Bad Reichenhall/Bayer. Gmain GmbH will conduct maintenance and repair work, including the gradual renewal of 75 thorn fields to preserve the historical structure and ensure long-term functionality. The Gradierhaus is expected to reopen in the spring of 2027, depending on weather conditions. The Königlicher Kurgarten will remain open to visitors throughout the winter months.
