Bad Waldsee Radmarathon approaches 1,000 participant limit

The inaugural Bad Waldsee Radmarathon, scheduled for September 26, 2026, is approaching its participant limit of 1,000 spots due to high demand. Organizer Daniel Steinhauser expressed enthusiasm regarding the turnout, viewing it as a sign of trust in the new event.

Approximately 150 volunteers will support the marathon, assisting with course security, setup, and refreshment stations. The event aims to provide regional products at up to three stations along the route, with finish-line refreshments included in the entry fee. The organizers have also emphasized a commitment to quality and waste reduction by avoiding disposable promotional items.

Karate world champion Johanna Kneer is set to give the official starting signal in the center of Bad Waldsee.
