Bad Weilbach seeks state funding for urban revitalization projects

The Bad Weilbach Main and Finance Committee has approved a list of projects for the state program ‘Zukunft Innenstadt’ (Future City Center). The city is seeking 300,000 euros in funding from the Hessian Ministry for Economic Affairs, Energy, Transport, Housing, and Rural Areas to support three revitalization projects.

One primary project involves developing an integrated usage and design concept for the ‘Alten Friedhof Weilbach’ to transform it into a multifunctional community park. Additionally, the city plans to install a barrier-free visitor and observation platform at the Damwildgehege in the Bad Weilbach Kurpark to allow pedestrians to view wildlife.
